is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to be part of our Power Business Unit.
This position is based out of our Charleston, WV office, working on a variety of projects around West Virginia and surrounding states.
We are searching for an energetic, outgoing person that is willing to learn a variety of engineering skills to support projects associated with power stations, roadways, landfills, solar development, and abandoned mine land reclamation projects.
The successful candidate will be eligible for a sign-on and/or relocation bonus.
The job will consist of executing construction quality assurance plans required for the closure of Coal Combustion Residual (CCR) Impoundments.
This includes observation of construction activities, soil testing, soil sampling, observation of geosynthetic liner construction, and preparation of daily reports.
In addition, the candite may assist in the preparation of site grading plans, stormwater management design, landfill design, erosion and sedimentation control, floodplain management, and various permitting for stream activities, construction stormwater, NPDES, and solid waste facilities.

Responsibilities:
Construction ObservationPrepare Daily Report for Construction ActivitiesInspection of Geosynthetic Liner System ConstructionSoil/Water SamplingSoil/Water TestingSite grading and earthwork plansHydrologic and Hydraulic analysesStormwater management plansErosion and Sedimentation Control layout and designPreparation of engineering drawings and specificationsPermitting duties for stream activities and construction stormwaterSolid Waste permitting and designPosition requires relocation out of state (IN or KY) to provide construction quality assurance services at a construction project.
Occasional travel to work sites required (25%).
Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred Civil Engineer with an emphasis in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
