Senior Lead Construction Technician

Description GAI Consultants, Inc.
is looking for a transportation Senior Lead Construction Technician with a WV Transportation Engineering Technician (TRET) level 3 or 4 to serve as inspectors to support highway/bridge projects throughout West Virginia.
This position will primarily support WVDOH District 4 in Harrison County.
The successful candidate will be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
Job Duties:
Verification that contractor's work being performed is in accordance with plans and contractual specifications.
Perform calculations for contractor payment.
Ability to read construction plans and documents.
Good communication skills.
Write daily technical reportsPhysical Requirements :

The environment will include dust, noise, tripping, and overhead hazards.
Travel Requirements :
Travel to project sites as necessary with the potential for overnight stays (25%).

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
