Senior EIT (Civil)

Description GAI Consultants, Inc is seeking a Senior EIT to work within our Civil and Environmental Business Sector.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment that will utilize their related experience to develop professionally and grow in today's global environment.
This position is eligible for GAI's flexible Hybrid workplace place/Telework Policy and a Sign-on Bonus.
Job Duties:
Plans, designs, and facilitates civil engineer project design tasksUndertakes technical and feasibility studies.
Collaborates with other professionals and discusses requirements with clients.
Uses computer programs to develop detailed designs.
Ensures that work products meet client, environmental, and safety requirements.
Performs work under professional engineering staff.
Handles basic issues and problems but will refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and civil engineering design tasks.
Strong team collaboration, oral and written communication, design expertise, and problem-solving skills are required.
This position requires local/regional travel and should be expected to be 20-40% (1-2 days per week as needed for project-related work/occasional overnight travel)Why GAI:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
