Our client is a privately held, mid-size manufacturer supplying the automotive market with medium to high volume, stamped metal components and welded assemblies. In business since 1968, they have multiple locations throughout North America. We are looking for experienced Tool & Die Makers with a positive attitude at our plant in Portland, TN (just north of Nashville). Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of a team chartered to develop and maintain reliable tooling processes for the production department. You will troubleshoot, repair, perform maintenance and improve the performance of metal stamping and progressive & transfer dies. You will also be involved in continuous improvement activities to maintain world class performance.
Typical Duties
Troubleshoot tooling problems at presses
Work from tool room schedule to ensure production tooling and equipment is ready to meet customer requirements
Work on production equipment to maintain production
Requisition supplies and parts for tool room and dies
Proactively engage in Continuous Quality Improvement
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Interpret prints for tooling modifications, accuracy, and/or improvements
Work with Engineers to create and/or modify prints to reflect needed changes
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Certified Tool & Die Maker or relevant experience
3 - 5 years' experience in a stamping environment
Knowledge of TS16949/ISO14001 a plus
Experience with stainless steel and welding fixtures a plus
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint experience a plus
Experience with CAD a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
